Don't worry we will set everything up at the campsites and look after you! All you have to do is have fun, take pictures and be amazed at the truly wondrous sites of Tanzania.

We live here and we know Tanzania.

With us you will always get the best value because we don't have a 'special' rate for foreigners. Of course there are government tourism taxes that may apply but we treat all our customers with the same level of respect: that means the right price for all.  Simply we offer great service at the correct price so you will always know you got the best value for your money.

Using our extensive local knowledge we can also advise you on the best places to visit based on the time of the year you are in Tanzania, the amount of days you are here and, of course, the budget you want to apply. There is no point visiting an area when most of the animals are on migration and in a different part of Tanzania! That would be a waste of your money.  We will make sure you are always in the right place at the right time.

We offer full 'turn-key' solutions; with options if you like.  So when you tour or safari in Tanzania with us you never have to worry!  We will keep you safe, fed, entertained and, most importantly show you the Best of Tanzania!

All inclusive tours and safaris

When you join one of our tours or safaris you know there will be no surprises!  Your packages include meals, accommodation, park and game reserves fees (including conservation fees), all transport (vehicles, planes, boats), guides, excursions and even unlimited bottled water in our safari vehicles.  Of course you can personalise your package but normally when you are with us you can enjoy the experience and not have to think of putting your hand in your pocket.

Not only tents and not all tents are the same

Affordable does not mean you need to stay in a basic tents: unless you want to!

When we say affordable we don't mean "basic". We mean that you get extremely good value for your money.

If you are adventurous and you want to trek hard, carry your own backpack and pitch your own tent then of course we can provide that for you.  But if that is not you or you would not mind a break on your trek then don't worry!

We have a wide range of accommodation available at an affordable price.  After the truly adventurous small tents we have the far more "normal" way of Safari in large portable tents.  We will set them up for you and ensure that you are comfortable. These are necessary when we are 'on the move'.

Some of the "tents" are more like comfortable hotel rooms.  They are fixed and they even have fixed amenities, like showers, and provide a level of comfort that you would expect in a good hotel.

Then we affordable lodges that are, as you would expect, just like a friendly hotel with all the normal amenities and facilities.  It all comes down to what you want and whatever that is we have a great value for money option.

You can get physical climbing Mt Kilimanjaro and stay in portable tents if that is what you want.

Affordable Africa Wildlife Experiences

African wildlife in their natural environment like you see in documentaries: only you will be there!

If you want to experience the wildlife of Africa in their free and natural environment, not a zoo, then we can help you. We live here, the land and animals are part of us, as we are a part of them. It is our pleasure to share the sensational sites and sounds of African wildlife with you.

An "affordable" holiday in Tanzania is one that ensures you get the best value for your money!  It is very important that you see the best places and things possible.  In Tanzania, especially with the animals, this is based on the time of year you come.  We will make sure you are in the right place at the right time.

The migrating animals, like Wildebeest and Zebra, follow a general pattern each year:

  • From the end of December to Middle March you should be concentrating on the Ndutu Area and Southern Serengeti Plains. After the first heavy storms, usually in early December, the plains are instantly transformed and the migrant Wildebeest, Zebra and Thomson’s gazelle come feast on the lush green pastures and give birth to their young.  Naturally, other animals follow the migration including Lion, Cheetah, Hartebeest and Dik-Dik.
  • From April to Middle June the migration is expected to be in the Central Serengeti and slowly moving in two different tracks (Western Serengeti to Northern Serengeti).
  • Between June to early September the Wildebeest migration splits in two distinct groups. One group goes west into the Western Corridor before crossing the Grumeti River. The other group heads directly to the north of the Northern Serengeti.
  • From the end of September heading to October the Mass Migration will be crossing Masai Mara River towards to Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya.

Cultural Experiences in Tanzania

Who better than a local to introduce you to the wonderful and diverse culture of Tanzania.

Do you love meeting people and learning about their culture?  Well we are born and breed in Tanzania and we like nothing more than to help people immerse themselves in our culture!

Tanzania is a country rich in culture and traditions. Tanzanians are very generous and hospitable yet conservative people. They are very welcoming but want people to treat their culture with respect.

Tanzania is among few countries in Africa where religious harmony is prevalent. People of different religions live in harmony and love within 128 tribes. The main religions are Christianity and Muslims, minority religions are Buddhism, Hindus and traditional religions.

We can take you to the fascinating areas in Northern Tanzania where you can experience real African life and enjoy the beautiful scenery of green mountains, seemingly endless plains, almost treeless grassland and the dramatic Rift Valley.  We organise local guides to assist you with tours so you can truly engage with the local culture.

There are many experiences you can have but some of the best for interacting with the culture are our:

  • Climbing Oldonyo Lengai & Lake Natron,
  • Trek Mount Lemagarut at Ngorongoro Conservation Area,
  • Visit Ilkiding’a,
  • Trek at Longido,
  • Trekking at Monduli Juu,
  • Cultural Visit Mto wa Mbu,
  • Tour to Mulala,
  • Tour to Ng’iresi, and
  • Crater Highland Foot Safari (for the foodies out there!).

On these cultural tours vehicles are provided as a support and to transport you to and from the trek.

Seeing Tanzania with a local guide is the only way to truly appreciate the culture.
