Day to day
Day: Arrival in Arusha
Your walking safari adventure begins with arrival in Arusha, where you’ll prepare for the upcoming trek.

- Rest and preparation for the trek

Day 1: Nainokanoka to Empakaai Crater
Begin your trek through stunning volcanic landscapes and Maasai territories, culminating in the magnificent Empakaai Crater rim.
Activities:
- Morning drive to Nainokanoka
- Trek through open grasslands and natural amphitheatre
- Interactions with local Maasai communities
- Climb to Empakaai Crater rim
- Spectacular views of Ol Donyo Lengai (the holy Maasai volcano)
Accommodation: Empakaai Special Campsite (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 2: Empakaai Crater to Nayobi Village
Explore the stunning Empakaai Crater floor and its rich wildlife before trekking to Nayobi village.
Activities:
- Descent into Empakaai Crater
- Wildlife viewing around the soda lake
- Opportunity to see flamingos, antelopes, buffalo
- Possible sightings of leopard and lion
- Trek to Nayobi village

Day 3: Trek to Lake Natron
A challenging but rewarding trek across the Rift Valley floor, offering some of Africa’s most spectacular views.
Activities:
- Leisure breakfast
- Trek across challenging terrain
- Panoramic views of the Rift Valley
- Sightings of active volcanoes and soda lakes
- Arrival at Lake Natron

Day 4: Lake Natron Exploration
Full day exploring the unique ecosystem of Lake Natron and its surrounding attractions.
Activities:
- Visit to Lake Natron
- Flamingo watching
- Waterfall visit for cooling off
- Ancient human footprints viewing
- Optional night climb of Ol Donyo Lengai
Accommodation: Lake Natron Campsite (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 5: Return to Arusha
Complete your Ol Donyo Lengai climb (if attempted) and return to Arusha.
Activities:
- Morning return from Lengai (if climbed)
- Drive back to Arusha
- Afternoon arrival and rest

Day 1 – Arrive JRO – pick up and transfer to Arusha, overnight at Spa Hotel D&B
Safari Day 1
Drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for game drive, Tarangire is famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons. Afternoon leave the park and drive to Karatu, overnight at a Safari Lodge B,L,D
Safari Day 2
After breakfast drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, descend into the crater for 7 hours crater tour, at Ngorongoro Crater you may see everything from elephant to lion, and if you’re lucky, the near-extinct black rhino, all amongst large herds of zebra and wildebeest. Afternoon exit the crater and drive to the Serengeti National Park, overnight at a Serengeti Tented Camp B,L,D
Safari Day 3
Full day game driving in the central Serengeti, overnight at Serengeti Tented Camp B,L,D
Safari Day 4
Game drive in Serengeti, then drive to Karatu for overnight at Ngorongoro Lodge B,L,D
Safari Day 5
After a leisure breakfast driven to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive,Lake Manyara is famous for a good number of baboons and bird-life, also home to herbivores such as hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, buffalo, warthogs, and giraffes, giant fig trees and mahogany seen in the groundwater forest immediately around the park gates – later leave the park and driven to Arusha, drop to JRO for (late evening flight.
