Day to day

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha and Tarangire National Park


Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by the Eastern Sun Safari team and transferred to Arusha, a gateway to Tanzania’s safari destinations. After check-in and a short briefing, begin your adventure with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees.

  • Airport transfer and check-in at Arusha – Arrive in Arusha, settle in, and prepare for the safari.
  • Game drive in Tarangire – Explore the park and spot elephants, zebras, wildebeest, buffalos, and the rare African wild dog.
